Blacks Leisure offer talks end

Blacks Leisure’s talks over a potential offer the business have ended without a deal.

In February, Blacks Leisure, which operates the Blacks, Millets and Freespirit chains, said that it had received an approach about a potential offer for the group.

Reports suggested that both Sports Direct and private equity firm Lion Capital were looking at the business.

However, a statement from Blacks Leisure said: “The board of Blacks Leisure can confirm that all discussions relating to these approaches have now been terminated.”
