Burberry Prorsum

The Look
Christopher Bailey appealed to the true Brit in all of us by using dip dye on pieces to give a rain soaked effect so typical of our English summers

Key pieces
Ombre effects added a new twist to the classic Burberry trench, as tulip skirts reached down to the knee, cardigans featured asymmetric buttons and appliqué florals and giant sequins added texture

Colours
A traditional Burberry palette of tan, rust, cement, black and dirty lilac

Fabrics
Plasticised effects were used to add gloss to shift dresses and chiffons created sheer 7/8 trousers and matching blouses
