Relaunched in January this year, the LK Bennett website achieved an 100% increase in sales year on year in its first five weeks. Looking at the site, it is easy to see why.

Relaunched in January this year, the LK Bennett website achieved an 100% increase in sales year on year in its first five weeks. Looking at the site, it is easy to see why.

The new site has easy to use (if slightly simple) navigation as well as added colour and size filter options. Product is displayed in a clear way and, once on the item pages, a number of view options and a zoom tool are available.

Product information shows size and colour options, and whether the item is in stock, removing the frustrating problem of customers having to go through the checkout process before discovering that the item is not available.

The home page is largely image-led with each image containing hot spots that, when clicked on, show further product information and give the option to click directly through to the product to buy.

The only thing missing is a more interactive element to the site - there are currently no video or blog elements so users will only ever go there purely to shop.

However, LK Bennett has plans to enhance the site in the next few years and it is certainly heading in the right direction.
