Launched to support small businesses, Independent Boutique sells products from a number of brands and designers on one site.

The site segments its brands with an A to Z list and, when clicking on an individual brand, users are taken to an information page about it. Some of the brands are not currently selling any product on the site, stating ‘Collection coming soon’ on their pages. Independent Boutique caters for a mainstream womenswear market, with brands like Quinton & Chadwick and Hetty Rose on board.

The Clothing section offers users several filtering options including product type, colour, size and occasion. There is a range of prices - dresses start at £65 and go up to £270 - and the smaller brands make it the ideal place to find that unique buy.

The site has a prominent Sale section, which allows brands and designers to sell old stock at a discount price in a quick and easy way.

The site is clean and simple but the home page is quite plain and could do with more content to push the audience into exploring the site further. Independent Boutique has a number of unknown brands on the site, so the home page would make a stronger impact if it showcased more product.
