Created by web designer WickedWeb, is a clean but effective transactional footwear site. Originally beginning life as Ugs & Kisses, the company was relaunched in February 2009 when the Shudoo site went live.

Since then the site has gone from strength to strength, with traffic numbers reaching 180,000 unique users per month (an average increase of 30% a month in the last quarter).

The site’s home page is effectively used to promote the latest offers, while a simple filtering system allows customers to quickly find products.

A variety of brands on the site including Camper, Steve Madden and more recently Shudoo’s own brands Shudoo and Jumbuck, are displayed clearly on product pages with rotation and zoom tools allowing for closer inspection. Free delivery and return options are also well advertised.

Online competitions ensure the Shudoo database continues to grow (currently at 75,000) and the celebrity style section, which flags up key looks, is useful editorial content to bounce shoppers around the site.

Shudoo TV, the video section of the site, is an interesting concept. The use of personal styling advice led by GMTV stylist Mark Heyes as presenter adds credence.
