I’m not a fan of purchasing online.
The only time I tend to do it is when I’m buying DVDs. However, there is an exception to my online-buying aversion - Yoox.com. I’ve always been a huge fan of this site, and I’ve been using it for many years now because I find it to be one of the most comprehensive and easy-to-use retail sites.
I love the way that everything is laid out and I particularly enjoy the customer experience. The departments within the site are clearly marked and the ‘Products by designers’ option works very well. There is always a huge amount of product on Sale and it’s obvious that the site has a unisex feel to it, which I also really like.
One of the best things about the Yoox site has to be the product photography. The styling of the models and pieces always looks extremely good and you feel that you can really understand the products and the materials that are used to make them.
There is also a new eco-aware side to the site called Yooxygen, which has an excellent product list and doesn’t, as many sites do, just nod towards social responsibility. Added to that is the brilliant customer service and there is also a book section that stocks all the best fashion-forward publications.
Yoox.com is the perfect shopping experience, and the Sales are to die for.
