Gossamer light 1950s negligee-inspired dresses and feminine jackets cinched at the waist were at the core of a playful rainbow of dresses from John Galliano. Studded leather straps, heavy duty belts and leather corsetry lent a harder edge but overall the mood was fun and flirty.
Python skin tops had cap sleeves and were shaped over the hips, whilst sheer ruffled dresses floated down the catwalk. Strapless dresses striped with different shaped and sized studs came in canary yellow or raspberry.
From simple black and white to pale grey via bright yellow, tangerine, fuchsia, vermillion and pewter, there was plenty of choice.
An exciting juxtaposition of leather and snakeskin with sheer chiffon and sequinned silk.
