Footwear giant Clarks has unveiled its global store design concept at its New York flagship on Madison Avenue.
The revamped store was unveiled on Tuesday at a reception attended by a number of Clarks executives including chief executive Melissa Potter.
The Madison Avenue store is part of a global redesign initiative that was rolled out by Clarks last year. So far, 31 stores in the US have been updated with the more modern look.
As part of the revamp, the store almost doubled in size to 5,126 sq ft to accommodate an expanded product range. It also includes a dedicated area for the more trend-led Clarks Originals sub-brand.
The US is Clarks’ biggest market after the UK with around 20 million pairs of shoes sold there annually.
