Clothes Show Live updates its App for 2012 event

Consumer fashion event Clothes Show Live has launched a new version of its free smartphone app featuring everything consumers need to know about the fashion and beauty event, as well as shopping offers, competitions and fashion street style.

The app allows users to view the latest show news, celebrity announcements, exclusive discounts, expert style and beauty blogs as well as the hottest street style looks from every urban hub in the UK.

New additions for 2012 app include a tab that allows users to enter ticket and product competitions run by Clothes Show Live in partnership with a number of exhibitors. The Style Scout feature provides users with constant outfit inspiration as eagle eyed fashion spotters can upload images of the hottest street style looks.

Clothes Show Live show director Maryam Hamizadeh said that engaging with fans of the event was the main reason behind the app revamp.

She said: “Our brand new app brings Clothes Show fans fast news to their fingertips. This year we have packed the app full of content so whether on the move or waiting around, Clothes Show Live fans can be part of the action.”

Fronted by model Daisy Lowe, Clothes Show Live 2012 takes place from December 7-11 at NEC Birmingham.

The five day event celebrating the best of British fashion includes non-stop catwalk shows, makeovers, designer guests, celebrities and a Suzuki Fashion Theatre performance. Guests can also shop at the hundreds of fashion and beauty brands taking part at the show.
