Topman is offering shoppers an online-only personal shopping service following a link up with Google+.
The deal gives Topman access to Google+ Hangout technology, through which shoppers can book online personal shopping appointments, pre-order particular styles and trends and purchase clothing online through a dedicated page on the retailer’s own site.
Arcadia-owned Topman launched the service today, four months after investing in the physical personal shopping suite at its Oxford Street store. It is hosting a special Google+ Hangout session presented by Radio 1 DJ Nick Grimshaw and the Topman personal shopper team from 6pm this evening to promote the new facility.
Topman marketing director Jason Griffiths said: “To be able to open up our personal shopping service to all of our customers all over the UK through shoppable Google+ Hangouts is incredibly exciting. Through a few simple clicks you will be able to book and experience a one-on-one online appointment with one of our expert personal shoppers no matter where you are.”
The service is free for shoppers to use and can be accessed from smartphones and tablets.
