Premium retailer Jaeger is to enter the Russian market with two Jaeger London stores.
In a collaboration with one of Russia’s luxury brand distributors, JamilCo, Jaeger will open two 130 sq metre stores in central Moscow in spring 11.
The stores will be located in the Vremena Goda mall on Kutuzovskii Prospekt and Metropolis on Leningradskii Prospekt. A further two stores will open in Moscow and St Petersburg in autumn 11.
Jaeger’s chief executive Belinda Earl said: “The Russian market is dynamic and vibrant, and we look forward to attracting new customers to Jaeger.”
Khaled Jamil, JamilCo president, said: “Jaeger has global appeal and we are positive that Russian consumers will appreciate the brand’s heritage of noble fibres and unique designs.”
In the UK the premium retailer has 46 stores.
