Contour Ball raises £52,000 for charity

The lingerie industry’s Contour Fashion Ball raised £52,000 for charities the Retail Trust and the Fashion and Textile Children’s Trust at an event held in London last night.

The event, sponsored by fabric technology company INVISTA, lingerie brand Panache and bra accessories specialist Fashion Forms, was held at London’s Savoy hotel and was hosted by TV stylist Mark Heyes.

Celebrities and designers including Caprice, Wayne Hemingway and Aliza Reger all attended the event and the auction held on the night raised £10,000.

“It’s so exciting to be part of a sell-out event where the industry comes together to not only enjoy themselves, but to really support our charities,” said Sharon Webb chairwoman of the Contour Committee.

“When I took on this role, I set a target of raising £50,000. A big thank you to all who contributed and helped us raise the highest amount on record for this event.”
