Gone are the days when corduroy trousers were just for grandad. As the popularity of chinos runs and runs, cords have paved a new path for men’s trousers, offering an interesting alternative to denim. Slimmer styles were abundant at B&B in a raft of colours, from ruby red and cobalt blue to muted chocolate and mustard. Brands such as Gloverall and Lyle & Scott used cord detail on coats.
