Plus-size lingerie brand Curvy Kate has appointed a new head of sales as part of a restructure of its team.
Rachel Jenkins, who joined Curvy Kate from swimwear brand Zoggs on Monday (November 19), has been appointed following the decision to bring sales in-house.
According to Curvy Kate, the growth of the brand over the last few seasons “has put a strain on the sales and customer services team”. By going in-house, rather than utilising agents, it expects to provide its retailers with a better service.
“The brand has grown dramatically since the launch in 2009 and I’m looking to build on this and work with the same passion and momentum that the rest of the Curvy Kate team possesses,” Jenkins said.
“We are focusing our attention on improving customer relations and service worldwide,” said managing director Steve Hudson.
“The initial response to Curvy Kate has been remarkable and we want to build on that across our entire customer base without stretching our customer service team. It’s important we look after our key markets and maintain our strengthening position in the UK.”
Curvy Kate bras are available D to K cups and back sizes from 28-44. Bras retail from £26 to £30
