GILT GROUPE, the online US flash sales site that launched last week in the UK, plans to go public late next year or in 2013, the company’s chief executive Kevin Ryan told the Financial Times on Tuesday. Ryan said he expected Gilt’s annualised turnover to be close to $1 billion after the company posted gross sales of $500 million in its financial year to June.
