Topman brand director David Shepherd has been at the helm of the UK’s favourite men’s young fashion retailer for the past eight years, and has steadily improved its reputation.
Topman has evolved into a destination for young fashion at a decent price and this year outperformed its Arcadia Group stablemates with a record set of financial results.
Shepherd started out as a Saturday boy in Topshop more than 20 years ago, and for those who have worked with him it comes as no surprise that he is reaping the rewards of his labour. A former colleague says: “Before Dave took over Topman was on its knees. He has turned that business around and now it is looking its absolute best.”
