Drapers third and final day in Berlin saw us return to Bread & Butter.
The atmosphere at the show was extremely subdued, a stark contrast to Premium yesterday morning. The low footfall could be down to it being the last day of the trade show, or perhaps some over indulgence after a plethora of parties last night.
Nonetheless brands reported a strong presence of international buyers throughout the last couple of days. One denim brand noted that the €500 fee for service providers had filtered out the crowds and so those visiting the show had been keen to do business.
Although the streetwear show has been synonymous with large well known names, with many brands erecting impressive stands, there was no shortage of smaller unknown labels. Therefore the show, although perhaps smaller than back in its Barcelona heyday, is still relevant and a key place to find new names.
