Debenhams rolls out latest own label Kate Thomas

Debenhams is rolling out another of its own label offerings, Kate Thomas, replacing the space in the department store previously occupied by Jane Norman concessions.

The brand, Kate Thomas, designed and developed in-house by Debenhams, is part of its ongoing strategic focus to grow its Designers at Debenhams and own brand proposition.

Kate Thomas, which will be stocked in 50 of Debenhams’ 170 stores, spanning 8,000 sq ft, started to go in-store before Christmas, according to Debenhams, but is now at full range.

The collection, with dresses at its core, is aimed at the 25 to 35 market and is intended to complement Debenhams’ Red Herring brand.

Jane Norman ended its Debenhams concessions last August. The business went into administration in June.
