British designers including Jonathan Saunders, Holly Fulton and Preen are to feature in a second collective pop-up shop at discount shopping centre Bicester Village.
The designers have signed up to sell stock at discounts of up to 60% via the pop-up shop at the Oxfordshire outlet centre, which will be open for six weeks from March 31 until mid May.
The project, called British Designers Collective, is a collaboration between London Fashion Week organiser the British Fashion Council (BFC) and Bicester Village owner Value Retail, which runs outlets in nine European cities including in Paris and Milan.
Other designers to join the British Designers Collective include Felicity Brown, Markus Lupfer and Todd Lynn. The 2011 BDC is being hosted by British actress Thandie Newton, who will officially open the boutique on Thursday.
This is the second year the British Designers Collective has opened a pop-up shop in Bicester Village. Last year Erdem, PPQ and House of Holland featured in the pop-up shop for six weeks. At the time BFC joint chief executive Caroline Rush said if it was successful then there would be potential for an annual scheme within Bicester Village.
