Footwear retailer Dune is continuing to expand internationally with new stores set to open in Abu Dhabi and Kuwait later this month.
The 45-store retailer, which already operates 19 stores in the Middle East, plans to open two new stores in Abu Dhabi and two in Kuwait before the end of August.
The retailer’s existing stores in Landmark Mall, Qatar and Mirdiff CC in Dubai are currently undergoing refurbishment, as is Dune’s Europeisky store in Moscow, Russia.
All of the new stores and store re-fits feature a new concept shop fit, which has been specifically designed to highlight the retailer’s affordable luxury positioning.
Dune has said that going forward it will look to expand into new international territories.
“We are confident that sales have been strong and that our new concept stores will launch Dune into new markets whilst capitalising further on our existing strong store portfolio,” said Claire Lamb, head of international and wholesale.
“Now is a very exciting time for Dune as we look to grow the brand and position ourselves as market leaders in affordable luxury accessories and footwear.”
Dune has 45 standalone stores and 163 concessions across Europe, Russia and the Middle East.
