Ebay has introduced its personalisation tool eBay Collections into the UK.
The feature allows individuals to pick their choice of items from the eBay site and group them together to create their own collection page. Provided users have an eBay account, they can then search for items and click the ‘Add To Collection’ option.
Each user can create 50 collections including up to 200 items each.
Ebay sellers can also create their own collections for free by choosing product from their ranges, and when a user clicks on an item within the collection they are taken to the product listing on eBay. Retailers currently using the Collections tool include Debenhams, Joules, Boden, French Connection and Karen Millen.
Users can also choose to follow others who have created collections and look at eBay Today to see a selection of eBay Collections that have been chosen by the website’s team.
Collections was launched in the US in October 2013 and since then more than one million collections have been created, a fifth of these by retailers.
