Eley Kishimoto creates Tesco T-shirt for Climate Week

Tesco has teamed up with designer Eley Kishimoto to create a T-shirt manufactured by wind and solar power for Climate Week.

The £10 geometric-print men’s and women’s T-shirts are also organic and ethically made.

They will be available in-store and online from March 21, in time for Climate Week, an initiative backed by the Prime Minister and Sir Paul McCartney to inspire the UK to combat climate change. A share of proceeds will go to the Environmental Justice Foundation.

Celebrities including Lily Cole, KT Tunstall, Gemma Arterton and Gillian Anderson have stepped up to model the T-shirts.

Climate Week’s Phil Drew said the T-shirt “represents the future of fashion: an item that’s as green as its message and doesn’t cost the earth, in all senses of the word”.

Tesco is headline partner of Climate Week.
