Contemporary women’s footwear brand Esska is to launch an accessories line for spring 13, which it will debut at footwear tradeshow Micam in Milan next week.
Esska, which has approximately 25 wholesale accounts in the UK, hopes that around 15% of its footwear stockists will buy into the accessories line for spring 13.
Current stockists include two London-based indies - premium footwear and accessories indie Black Truffle and footwear indie Mudfoot and Scruff - and Brighton-based footwear indie Last.
Esska’s founder and designer Souraya Karami said the accessories line, which comprises leather jewellery, clutch bags and purses, had been designed to complement the footwear range.
“I felt it was a natural progression after the success of Esska shoes, and I was keen to branch out and offer our customer more of the Esska style they love,” she said.
Wholesale prices for the 10-piece accessories line range from £10 for a leather cuff and go up to £36 for a clutch bag.
The line will be officially unveiled to trade buyers at the Micam footwear tradeshow which takes place at the Fiera Milano exhibition centre from September 16-19.
