East London boutique Rêve en Vert has launched a website which aims to combine luxury fashion with ethical standards.
The site www.revenvert.com, which was previously in beta, officially launched this week. Founded by former Stella McCartney press officer Cora Hilts and Natasha Tucker, who has a background in organic farming, the site has had a complete redesign for launch and added more brands and editorial content.
Rêve en Vert, which translates as ‘dream in green’, sells ethical brands including A Peace Treaty, Hare + Hart and The Sway. At present the site offers 16 brands with prices ranging from £50 for a ring to £450 for a biker jacket. Deliveries are made internationally using carbon neutral shipping.
Hilts said: “We are part of an extremely consumptive generation, who love fashion but at the same time are becoming much more socially conscious and sustainably minded. We saw a real gap in the market as there are few places a shopper with that mindset can actually go and find things to suit their taste.”
Customers can also visit Rêve en Vert at its new London studio at 7 Shepherdess Place near Old Street, where a personal shopping and consultant service is available.
