Denise Shepherd, UK managing director of premium German womenswear brand Escada, has left the business as part of a company restructure.
Shepherd left the business shortly before Christmas. She is thought to be taking a break from the industry to consider her next move.
The Munich-based brand is now bringing the management of its British and French subsidiaries under the Munich head office.
It is thought that there may be other redundancies as a result, although it is not clear how many roles are affected.
According to an Escada spokeswoman the London and Paris showrooms remain open.
Escada has a presence in around 80 countries worldwide. UK stockists include Harrods, as well as a standalone stores on Knightsbridge’s Brompton Road.
