Heritage brand Woolrich has overhauled its womenswear collection for autumn 13 following the expansion of its design team.
The Pennsylvania-based company has expanded its design team and is relaunching its womenswear collection, taking inspiration from the brand’s archive, which dates back to 1830.
The new collection “showcases the original DNA of the brand through pieces that are especially feminine while at the same time functional”, Woolrich said.
Key pieces in the collection include parka coats with sheepskin collars, blazers, sweatshirts, dresses and shirts.
The colour palette comprises pastel shades including cream, beige, pink, yellow and light blue and deeper shades such as wine, mauve and tobacco.
The new collection will be unveiled at womenswear tradeshow Pitti Immagine W, which takes place in Florence from today (January 8).
