Findafashionshop reaches out

Independent boutique locator service has teamed up with website development giant Glam Media to extend its reach.

More than 200 independents are listed on the Findafashionshop website, and it is now able to take advantage of Glam Media’s network by sharing content with its database of 750 websites.

Findafashionshop marketing director Amanda Hart said that via the partnership would increase brand awareness by content sharing and by links between the two websites.

Indies can sign up to Findafashionshop for £45 a year. The site publishes store details and brands stocked. It also advertises jobs and promotions.

Barbara Sellars, a subscriber to the site and owner of womenswear retailer Elise in York, said: “It [teaming up with Glam Media] can only be good for us. The more people that see indies are there, the better.”

Glam Media has more than 81 million unique visitors a month to its websites.
