Fiorentini + Baker opens new London flagship and showroom

Anglo-Italian footwear brand Fiorentini + Baker has opened a flagship store and showroom in East London.

The brand, which already has a store in London’s Nottinghill as well as four boutiques in Bologna, Italy and a store in New York, opened the three floor space on Rivington Street in Shoreditch in October.

The 645 sq ft ground floor houses the brand’s men’s and women’s collections while the upper two floors house the showroom, offices and designer and founder Deborah Baker’s personal studio.

“I’ve always had an attraction to the East End,” said Baker.  “When I found this building I fell in love with it. The diversity of the East End really resonates with me and I hope that our ethos and style will appeal to the area.”

The store has been decorated in a similar style to the other Fiorentini + Baker stores and features vintage lamps and furniture.

Fiorentini + Baker is also wholesaled via premium retailers including etailer Net-A-Porter and Barneys in New York.

The brand was created in 2001 by British-born designer Deborah Baker and it is manufactured in the south east of Italy.
