Forever 21 signs for first Scottish store

US fashion retailer Forever 21 is understood to have signed for its first store in Scotland.

Forever 21 is believed to have signed for a 60,000 sq ft store on Glasgow’s Buchanan Street, the city’s famous shopping destination, as part of its continued expansion in the UK.

The store, at 105-221 Buchanan Street, is in part of a Land Securities development. It is set to open in 2013.

Property agency Harper Dennis Hobbs acted for Forever 21, while DTZ acted for Land Securities.

Forever 21 made is UK debut in Birmigham’s Bullring last year. It has also signed for a flagship store on London’s Oxford Street and in Westfield Stratford. It also opened a store in Dublin last year.
