Free People to launch online in the UK

Free People, the American womenswear brand owned by the same parent company as US lifestyle retailer Urban Outfitters, is to make its UK debut next week.

The brand will launch the UK version of its fully transactional website,,  on Monday (November 5) and all UK customers will be able to take advantage of free shipping for the first month followed by a flat £5 delivery charge after that as well as free UK returns.

“The Free People website will give our loyal UK customers a more compelling, localised and convenient shopping experience,” said Dave Hayne managing director of direct and retail for Free People.

Free People has 77 standalone stores in the US and is also available in all major US department stores including Bloomingdales and Nordstrom.
