Streetwear brand Gio Goi is to open its first store in England after the success of its two openings in Scotland.
The brand will open a store in Manchester’s Arndale Centre on August 25, which will sell Gio Goi’s streetwear clothing as well as accessories and footwear.
The young fashion brand opened its first store in Aberdeen last year. At the time Gio Goi said a further retail roll out was possible with the brand scoutinf for London locations.
Gio-Goi managing director, Marc Killbourn, said: “Consumers have responded well very to the Aberdeen and Glasgow stores so we feel it is time to drive the brand forward and take that into England. Naturally the first store we wanted to open here was in Manchester given the fact the brand came from out of the city’s rich music history.
“The stores will deliver much more than a shopping experience – they are Gio-Goi brand experiences. It encapsulates what Gio-Goi stands for and will be used for testing new product for both men and womenswear as well as showcasing our new brand lines, Trakstar and Contraband.”
Gio Goi has 300 UK stockists including Asos, Bank and USC.
