Key looks
A marriage of masculine and feminine styling characterised Ricardo Tisci’s first foray into menswear

Romantic and slightly gothic, this was one of several shows to mine the 1980s for a new romantic theme

Delicately layered looks were contrasted with hard-edged, treated suiting in slim db constructions

Lots of sheer and lace was used in the gossamer layering for a feminine feel but Givenchy also used soft cottons and heavier weight suiting

Largely achromatic and the palette rarely strayed from black white and ecru
