Heritage footwear brand Loake to open first store

Northamptonshire heritage footwear manufacturer Loake is to open its first bricks and mortar store later this month as it looks to strengthen its position in the UK market and support its stockists.

The store will open in London’s Prince’s Arcade in Piccadilly in mid-November and is the first standalone store for the brand.

According to the brand, the decision to open its first store was taken to help support its 1,000 stockists in the UK.

“The last few years have seen good international growth for Loake, now it is time to consolidate in the UK,” said managing director Andrew Loake.

Loake is also in the process of updating its transactional website, which it launched three years ago, to give it improved functionality and a more contemporary look.
