Blog: A right royal occasion

It was a right royal sweep for our ladies in Vogue’s just-released guide to the 50 most glamorous women.

At 81 years old, the Queen is a pariah of sensible fashion and always looks well turned out, and was given praise for the brogues and headscarves combos she regularly sports on her trips up north to Balmoral. Even model of the moment Agyness Deyn gave Her Majesty the thumbs up, calling her ‘cool’.

Also included in the list was Her Majesty’s first cousin once removed Lady Helen Taylor, who represents Italian fashion house Armani and jeweler Bulgari here in the UK. The Dowager Duchess of Devonshire authoress Deborah Cavendish, famous for her appearances as the public face of Chatsworth House in Derbyshire, made the grade, as did fashion muses Princess Rosario Saxe-Coburg and Lady Amanda Harlech, and writer Lady Antonia Fraser.

What are your thoughts on the list? Do you think there are key people who have been missed off? Or any on there who don’t justify their position? Let us know in the box below.
