Drapers Fashion Awards 2012 opens for entries

The search for the top fashion multiple retailers, brands and indies begins this week as we launch the Drapers Fashion Awards 2012 to coincide with Drapers’ 125th anniversary.

Entries can be submitted online at www.drapersawards.co.uk for 18 different categories, and will be judged by the Drapers team alongside a VIP panel of expert judges that this year includes big names such as Rob Templeman, Richard Bradbury, Miles Gray and Louise Wilson.

Caroline Nodder, editor-in-chief of Drapers, said: “This year’s awards will coincide with a very special anniversary for Drapers, a publication that has been reporting on the fashion business for an amazing century and a quarter, so we want to make sure they are the biggest and best awards we’ve ever put on.

“They also represent a fantastic opportunity for businesses across the sector, from the smallest indie to the biggest brand and multiple, to celebrate their achievements and congratulate the teams behind the successes.

“My team will be scouring the UK and Republic of Ireland for the best in the business, so make sure you are in the running by registering online now.”

The Drapers Fashion Awards 2012 will take place on November 21 at the Grosvenor House hotel in London, with 1,000 of the industry’s top names expected to attend.
