Footwear trade show to launch next month

A new footwear trade show, Platform, is launching in February to accommodate premium shoe brands in the UK.

Exhibitors for the show, which will run from February 9-10 at the Westbury Gallery at the Westbury Hotel in Mayfair, London, include Beyond Skin, Audley, C Doux and J Shoes.

Founder Gerard Levy, who also runs London footwear store Spice, said Platform was born out of frustration over a lack of UK standalone footwear shows.

“I have great respect for Scoop and Pure, but the reality was that being clothes fairs they always would cater to those needs first.

“The concept of Platform is to create an environment that is clean and contemporary yet also warm and welcoming.”
