The look The focus at Charming for autumn 11 is texture, and it mixes grosgrain ribbons, tulle net skirts, and rose and vintage floral embellishments. Necklines are enhanced with tube beading and skirt silhouettes are A-line or fitted.

Hedonia

The look 1960s-style party dresses and 1970s-style daywear come with vintage-inspired prints in Hedonia’s autumn 11 collection, for which iconic 1960s model Jean Shrimpton is the inspiration. Burnt orange, black, gold and white dictate the colour palette as faux-fur embellishments come through on body-con fitted dresses emphasised with structural shapes, backless features and exposed zip work. Mesh and lace panelling and sequins are key details.

The look Eucalyptus takes inspiration from vintage 1940s and 1950s styles. The key silhouette is
a full midi-length skirt with cinched waist, teamed with a fitted top. Classic black is accompanied by teal, charcoal, red and chocolate, and employed on grosgrain, velvet, wool, cotton satin, chiffon and
faux fur.

The look Rare’s collection is influenced by five main catwalk trends: gothic, colour blocking, regal, boho and ladylike. Over these five trends, the dominant styles are embroidered shift dresses, embellished body-con, asymmetric feminine shapes, pussy-bow blouses and longer-length skirts. Key fabrics include satin, chiffon, lace, sequin and slinky jerseys.

The look Gia London’s classic 1950s styles nod to vintage films and Hollywood glamour. Colours such as teal, dove, charcoal and
burnt pink are highlighted with gold and silver accents. Draped-neckline dresses and pleating are important, as are flower prints on satin,
metallic shimmer jerseys, 1980s slinky print jerseys and lightly crushed silks.
