Irregular Choice plans duo of new stores

Footwear brand Irregular Choice is to open two new UK stores as part of its expansion plan.

The quirky label has secured one store in Leicester city center and another in Camden, London.  The stores, which will showcase the brand’s full range of clothing, footwear and accessories, will open next week.

Irregular Choice already has UK stores in Brighton, Carnaby Street in London, Boxpark, Westfield London and Manchester.

In December last year Drapers reported that Irregular Choice was seeking investment to help fund retail expansion into new territories, with plans to open two to three stores per year over the next decade.

The brand, which made a profit of almost £2m in the year to January 31, 2011, up from £1.3m the year before, opened its first store in Hong Kong in January.
