Footwear brand Irregular Choice will open its second UK store this summer in Brighton.
The 300 sq ft second store will stock footwear including wedges and sandals as well as accessories when it opens on Bond Street, Brighton in July. The two storey building includes a mirrored staircase and a perspex seating filled with the founder’s finds from Japan, such as toys, puzzles and trolls.
It will be the second UK store Irregular Choice, following its launch on London’s Carnaby Street in December 2008. The brand made its first foray into retail in 2007 with a standalone store on New York’s Lafayette Street.
Irregular Choice founder Danny Sullivan said he has always set his sights on opening a store in Brighton.
“As it is our home town, it felt natural to open here. And what with Brighton being such a great culture for individuality and creativity, it was an easy decision. Add in the amount of tourists Brighton attracts, it is a great hub for an Irregular Choice store to be.”
