Kurt Geiger creates new head of buying role

Premium footwear business Kurt Geiger has appointed Scott Tepper to the newly created role of head of buying for external brands.

Reporting to buying and creative director Rebecca Farrar-Hockley, Tepper, who was a senior footwear buyer at US department store Bergdorf Goodman, will head up the 10-strong buying team focused on the retailer’s branded product and luxury partners.

He will take up the role in August and sit alongside Andy Crace, head of merchandising for external brands.

Tepper has also worked as fashion director of apparel and accessories at US womenswear store Henri Bendel.
