A collaboration between Christian Dior and Harrods was celebrated with an event to mark the opening of the So Dior exhibition at Harrods. The exhibition is a tribute to all things Dior and shows the works of the fashion house, from haute couture to fragrances. The event was attended by celebs including actress Gemma Arterton and model David Gandy.

On the scent Guests were treated to a Dior La Collection Privée Gris Montaigne fragrance, which was presented in a limited-edition Harrods shopper.

Textile designer Celia Birtwell (pictured, left) was the guest of honour at the launch of her collaboration with fast-fashion retailer Uniqlo. Birtwell greeted all of the guests at the launch personally and signed limited-edition prints for every customer who bought something from the collection.

Model behaviour Model Portia Freeman (pictured, right), who features in the campaign, also attended the launch wearing one of the pieces.

Warehouse celebrated the opening of its Trinity Leeds store with an acoustic set by Tay Cousins (pictured), winner of its Talent Spot competition. The Warehouse team also doled out CDs and other goodies, including special offers hidden in chocolate bars.

Star turns Other Talent Spot winners included Amy Rodchester, whose artwork decorates the changing room and window, and James Homer, whose poetry is printed throughout the store.

Where Agua Spa at the Sanderson Hotel, London

Jacqueline Stuart (pictured centre), founder and chief executive of luxury etailer Atelier-To-Go, celebrated the site’s launch with a party attended by the likes of Arlene Phillips (right with her daughter Alana, left) and the British Fashion Council’s David Watts.

The food and drink Guests were treated to candyfloss prawns, lobster and mango skewers, mini-lamb sliders, honey-glazed pumpkin wedges and chocolate brownies, washed down with ‘Atelier Martini’ created specially by Chambord vodka.
