Ellesse pops down Sportswear brand Ellesse threw a party to mark the closing of its month-long pop-up shop and cafe on Redchurch Street near London’s Brick Lane.
Swear it well Footwear brand Swear London celebrated its 10th birthday last week. As part of the festivities, the brand opened The10Space, a store and exhibition space at the Old Truman Brewery on London’s Brick Lane. There for the opening were (from left) Jose Neves of Swear London, Drapers’ Marie Davies, Swear London’s Jorge Sampaio and Graeme Gaughan from PR firm IPR.
Artist in residence Artist Sir Peter Blake helped launch his limited-edition T-shirt collaboration with Fred Perry at a party at the young fashion brand’s ‘concept shop’ in Spitalfields, east London. Blake was on hand to sign T-shirts and some of his iconic works were displayed in the shop.
Manchester love-in Manchester Fashion Network showed its support for the I Love MCR campaign – an initiative designed to unite the city and offer support to businesses in the aftermath of the recent riots. Pitching in for charity Peter Lucas (in straw hat) of menswear supplier Baird Group and the UK Fashion and Textile Industry Association hosted the annual Red Arrows Golf Challenge in association with Baird Group’s Alexandre Savile Row brand. A total of £575 was raised for the Liver Unit at St James’s Hospital in Leeds.
