Contemporary womenswear brand SuperTrash threw a party to celebrate the opening of its first UK store on London’s South Molton Street. The bash, which was hosted by the brand’s founder Olcay Gulsen, attracted a mix of fashion industry insiders and celebrities including Mollie King (left) and Vanessa White (right) of girlband The Saturdays, who posed with Gulsen.

Rolling Stones bassist Bill Wyman celebrated the launch of the Rolling Stones’ pop-up store at 10 Carnaby Street and the Carnaby Christmas decorations, which have been co-designed by the band in celebration of their 50th anniversary.

The great and good of the fashion industry were at the British Fashion Awards to honour the likes of Stella McCartney, Manolo Blahnik, Nicholas Kirkwood and Harold Tillman, who all picked up awards. Celebrity attendees included singer Rita Ora and Alexa Chung, actress Gemma Arterton, Radio 1 DJ Nick Grimshaw and designer Jonathan Saunders (pictured with the BFC’s Caroline Rush).

Liverpool radio station Juice FM hosted its sixth annual Style Awards, at which menswear etailer and retailer Designer Boutique scooped the Best Retail Award 2012. The event, which was sponsored by menswear retailer Tessuti, rewards the most stylish businesses and individuals in Liverpool.
