Amore, the classical quartet that sang in the pouring rain in front of millions of TV viewers during the Queen’s Jubilee river pageant, were back on the Thames where they were presented with wax jackets from Barbour to ensure they don’t get a drenching again.

The jackets Barbour presented the women with the Ignite, a multi-pocket biker jacket, and the men got the A7 Brass International, another classic Barbour biker style.

Shoppers flocked to Carnaby Street recently to enjoy a 20% discount in more than 115 stores including Size?, Ben Sherman, Lee Jeans and Levi’s. Stores helped to create a party atmosphere, such as at Lee Jeans where an in-store DJ pumped out tunes.

The entertainment Seven live performances, 15 DJs, dancing and modelling in shop windows and lots of giveaways.

WHAT Launch of the Jamaican Olympic team’s track and field kit

Fashion designer Cedella Marley, daughter of reggae icon Bob Marley, unveiled her creations for Team Jamaica’s Olympic kit for London 2012. The kit was modelled at the launch by the world’s fastest man, Usain Bolt, pictured left with Marley.

The kit Designed in collaboration with Puma, the collection incorporates high-tech fabrics.
