Leading names from the menswear world gathered at The British Residence in New York for the unveiling of the London Collections: Men (LCM) spring 14 schedule. Dylan Jones, chair of LCM was joined by the likes of Danny Lopez, HM consul general in New York, plus representatives from menswear brands that will show at the event in June.
On the guest list Other notable attendees included David Neville of menswear brand Rag & Bone, Carol Song and Jesse Hudnutt from cult retailer Opening Ceremony, and Nick Sullivan, fashion director of the US version of Esquire magazine.

Drapers brought together a selection of leading retailers including Topshop, Wallis, House of Fraser and Shop Direct Group to discuss the findings of the Drapers and Summit Media Etail Fashion Report, and share insights on the challenges faced by multichannel retailers.

NatWest’s commercial banking retail and wholesale specialist sector team held a breakfast event called The Fashion Business - A Revolution. Drapers editor-in-chief Caroline Nodder was guest speaker and attendees included representatives from brands and retailers such as Mint Velvet and Marta Jonsson.

UKFT Rise, the UK Fashion and Textile Association’s initiative for up-and-coming fashion industry talent, held an event at Facebook’s London head office, aimed at inspiring young people working their way up the fashion ladder.
Face time Joining designer Christopher Raeburn as speakers were Nick Hollingworth, chief executive of Austin Reed, and Tracy Yaverbaun, head of fashion, luxury and retail at Facebook.
