Press gang More than 150 brands, including Ecco, Viyella and James Lakeland, showcased their latest collections at last week’s Fashion Press Week at London’s One Marylebone. Summers here Ann Summers launched its first-ever TV ad this week during the break in ITV1’s The Only Way Is Essex. The night before, the lingerie retailer held a screening of the advert for a select group of insiders at Shoreditch House, east London, where Dominic O‘Riordan, who directed the ad, teamed up with its stars.

Pop goes Sorel Footwear brand Sorel celebrated its new advertising campaign ahead of its 50th anniversary next year by opening a pop-up shop at L’Imprimerie in Paris. Enjoying the festivities were Sorel’s Sandra Aris and Genny Couvreur.

Let the Fireworks begin Accessories brand Folli Follie celebrated the launch of its Fireworks Collection with a party at Elysée restaurant on Percy Street in London’s Fitzrovia. Partygoers including (from left) Links of London’s Sarah McNamara, Trace Publicity’s Ainsley Towli and Abbi McCleland, and Jessica Murray-Smith from Folli Follie were treated to Greek food and champagne.

Grin and bear it Singers Alexandra Burke (second left) and Chipmunk (far right), model Tamara Ecclestone and cricketer Kevin Pietersen joined Pudsey Bear in the window of Debenhams’ London Oxford Street flagship to celebrate the launch of their limited edition fashion collaboration for the BBC Children in Need Celebrity Style Challenge. The celebs were dressed in their own creations, which were unveiled to the public for the first time.
