A year in Black and White Premium indie Black White Denim celebrated its first year in business with a champagne reception at its store in Wilmslow, Cheshire. Owner Jo Davies was joined by Swedish womenswear designer Jan Ahlgren, who spoke to guests about his industry experiences.

Cooling off at Bluewater The Indian summer encouraged shoppers to spend a day out at Bluewater to take advantage of its 50-acre parkland, beach, lakes, boating and golf. Sun worshippers Gemma Bailey and Trudie Vernon took a refreshing break from shopping as temperatures hit 30 degrees in Kent.

Playful mood Maria Fowler of The Only Way is Essex donned a pink waspie to wow the crowds at London club The Box, the venue for the opening party for lingerie brand Playful Promises’ Soho store. The label’s founder Emma Parker celebrated with guests including Hollyoaks’ Annie Cooper and Strictly Come Dancing’s Brendan Cole.
