Model and Vogue contributor Laura Bailey joined press and members of the Radley team to launch her first capsule collection for the premium accessories brand. Bailey took time out from chatting to guests to pose with one of her bags from the collection (pictured).

The food Canapés including mini Scotch eggs, beef carpaccio and cured salmon.

Lord Marland, Parliamentary Secretary for Business, Innovation & Skills (BIS), visited the best of British manufacturing display in the BIS HQ’s lobby last week. The display was put together by the UK Fashion & Textile Association (UKFT) with contributions from UKFT, British Footwear Association (BFA) and British Fashion Council (BFC) members.

Sainsbury’s star-studded non-food charity ball was held earlier this month and raised more than £145,000 for the Warwickshire & Northamptonshire Air Ambulance. Guests including Myleene Klass, pictured with (from left) Sainsbury’s general merchandise director Robbie Feather, hairdresser Nicky Clarke and TU clothing director James Brown, enjoyed the seaside fairground-themed evening.

The food and drink Stroll Along the Pier Platter (fishcakes, chicken goujons, mushy peas, seafood, potato wedges), Beachside Bangers and Mash, and Sweet Treats (sticks of rock, popcorn and candy floss), were washed down with Sainsbury’s Taste the Difference wine.

Lingerie Française held a launch party for The Exhibition – a retrospective celebrating French lingerie since the 19th century.

The show’s curator, and founder of the Fashion Museum of Marseilles, Catherine Örmen (inset), was on hand to talk guests through the exhibition.
