Denim brand Replay is sponsoring a stage at this weekend’s Bestival music festival, and to celebrate it held two free gigs at its Covent Garden store. All the acts that played at the gig, including King Jacks and Foreign Office, were also due to appear at Bestival.

The night Guests sipped free beer and picked up festival tote bags.

The Paralympic torch relay reached London’s Regent Street this week on the last phase of its journey to the Olympic Stadium. At the junction where Air Street meets Regent Street, the torch was handed over to five new torch bearers who then continued their way down the famous Regent Street curve towards Piccadilly Circus, cheered on by retailers and their staff.

Who Dame Tanni Grey-Thompson was one of the West End torch bearers.

The route The torch convoy travelled from Oxford Circus, along Regent Street and on to Piccadilly Circus.

British designer Holly Fulton and singer-songwriter Delilah launched the UK’s first-ever Designer Outlet Fashion Month at McArthurGlen’s Cheshire Oaks, where more than 100 shoppers queued to pick up their limited-edition tote bag exclusively designed by Holly Fulton.

Designer Outlet Fashion Month Running through September in all seven UK McArthurGlen centres, the event promotes the concept of designer labels for less.

Co-founders Geoff van Sonsbeeck and Baukjen de Swaan Arons welcomed guests including designer Jasmine Guinness and model Jade Parfitt, plus members of the Baukjen team to a cocktail party last week to celebrate its change of name from Isabella Oliver to Baukjen. Baukjen’s Vicky Lovell, Ania Kaliszuk and Kate Heasman joined the fun.

The food Canapés including mini Yorkshire puddings with roast beef and horseradish and mini Scotch eggs.

The drinks Passion fruit mojitos and glasses of Viognier white wine.
