Timberland appoints The North Face's Schmidt-Eisenhart to spearhead growth

Footwear and outdoor clothing brand Timberland has appointed Timo Schmidt-Eisenhart as vice president and general manager for Timberland Europe.

Schmidt-Eisenhart joins from The North Face, where he held the role of general manager for Europe for the past five years. He was previously European sales director for the outdoor brand.

The North Face has replaced Schmidt-Eisenhart with vice president of sales EMEA Arne Arens, who has been promoted to the new role of vice president and general manager of Timberland Europe.

In his new role, Schmidt-Eisenhart will lead the brand’s European growth strategy. He will report into Timberland senior vice president of international, Richard O’Rourke.

Before joining The North Face, Schmidt-Eisenhart spent eight years with Nike, where he held several senior product and commercial roles.
